Overview
2010 was not a disaster for Slovakia in economic terms, but it was certainly a difficult one for the country's property sector. Even the strongest development projects had difficulties meeting the new financing requirements of the banks. While office developers were eventually to reduce their vacant space, it wasn't enough to push new schemes, a pattern repeated in the country's industrial sector.
CEDES 2011 will explore whether there's any light at the end of this long tunnel. It will ask the central question of whether Slovakia is even on the investment map at the moment, along with the potential for new industrial project to finally get moving. Finally, can developers find the extra equity they need for their schemes as a restricted supply pipeline begins to push occupiers into preleases?
Don't miss this prime networking opportunity to discuss the Slovak property sector with the most important players in the market.
